Manu, where do you come from ?

Mmm from all over haha ! I was born and I grew up in Casablanca until the age of 18, my father comes from Andalucia and mother comes from the Canary Islands (a good mix, yes) ! I went to Granada for university for 4 years (oh what a beautiful city) and then I did an Erasmus in the Czech Republic. Barcelona and Nice were my next destinations…

I love the sun, the sea and adventure ! 😊

An anecdote about you relating to the sea or boat ?

My grandfather had a motor boat and every sunday, we would go jet skiing. (I was too small and I never had enough strength to hold on) 😓

I remember one time on a cruise with my parents and my brother, they organised a fire drill and I didn’t know… I have to tell you that I was really quite scared. I even thought that my Titanic moment had come ! 😂

Seriously speaking, I’ve been lucky to always live close to the sea, it’s a real pleasure !

How does it feel to be part of Navily ?

At Navily, we feel at home. You are surrounded by a young team from all over the world, a good dose of audacity with the desire to do great things in the yachting world. After a brief stint as an intern in 2016, an opportunity came to be a part of this team in 2018 and I do not regret it al all !

What is your role at Navily ?

I am the Country Manager of Spain at Navily. I am the voice of Navily in Spain and I am in charge of commercial actions and follow-ups with spanish ports and boaters. It’s really very dynamic ! 😊
