the Island\u2019s west coast, nested in Cova de Sa Sal. The creek offers good protection to winds from northeast to southeast by the West. It\u2019s always a bit rolly on the anchorage and the seabed features a mix of posidonia, sand and coral reefs. Beware not to anchor in the seaweed patches that are part of the maritime reserve of the Island. Patience and precision will be required for safe anchoring but you will have no trouble distinguishing the seaweeds in the amazingly clear waters of the Cala.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Once safely anchored you will be able to marvel at the beauty of this amazing coastal world. We strongly recommend being equipped with snorkelling equipment, it would be a real shame not to take advantage of this unique underwater world. The rocky formation bordering the seashore takes amazing shapes, attracting many boaters each year. At the tip of the coast, where rocks meet the sea and skies, an eye excavated by millennia of erosion and weathering will attract the attention of your lenses. This grandiose rocky landscape falls abruptly in the crystal blue waters of the anchorage. An amazing scenery that you can appreciate from a high point after a little hike onshore. Obviously a little too touristy for some boaters, it remains a restful and resourceful anchorage for a mid-term to long-term stopover (some of our users spent time there during the Covid-19 sanitary lockdown).<\/p>\n<p><b><i>We stayed 3 weeks from March 14 to April 7 forced and forced (Covid 19) but considering the anchorage it was not unpleasant and were able to go to our refueling regularly and frankly we hope to return when everything is finished.
