carte scannerizzate (o raster), copie digitali esatte delle carte nautiche ufficiali cartacee. Ne riprendono l&#8217;aspetto, i colori e i simboli. Le informazioni sono affidabili ma statiche: \u00e8 impossibile aggiungere nuovi dati o impostare alarmi automatici se la rotta punta verso una secca. Questo formato, che richiede molta memoria, \u00e8 oggi superato dalle carte vettoriali.<\/p><p>\u00a0La carta vettoriale \u00e8, in parole semplici, la visualizzazione grafica di un database. Abbinata a un software di navigazione, consente di personalizzare e filtrare le informazioni, aggiungendo dettagli su elementi specifici (fari, boe, ecc.). Meno esigente in termini di memoria rispetto alla raster e in costante evoluzione, si adatta a schermi di ogni dimensione mantenendo una grafica fluida e leggibile a qualsiasi scala. Attualmente, solo le carte vettoriali conformi allo standard S-57 sono riconosciute come cartografia elettronica ufficiale. Fondata nel 1947 nell&#8217;arcipelago di Gl\u00e9nan, in Bretagna, la scuola di vela \u00e8 oggi la prima in Europa e un punto di riferimento assoluto nell&#8217;insegnamento della vela.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0Dalla sua creazione, l&#8217;associazione \u00e8 cresciuta costantemente rimanendo fedele ai suoi valori fondanti: volontariato, vita in comunit\u00e0, solidariet\u00e0 e autonomia. Ogni anno organizza circa 4.000 corsi, accogliendo oltre 19.000 allievi e istruttori.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0Punto di riferimento della nautica da diporto, Les Gl\u00e9nans ha esteso la sua presenza ben oltre la Bretagna. Da Paimpol a Bonifacio, fino alle Antille, l&#8217;associazione trasmette da quasi 80 anni il suo know-how a generazioni di navigatori.
