tempo. Negli anni della mia giovinezza, fui travolta da un vero e proprio colpo di fulmine davanti agli iceberg staccatisi dai ghiacciai nei titanici laghi della Patagonia. Molti anni pi\u00f9 tardi, un altro colpo di fulmine, per un uomo questa volta, mi colse all&#8217;improvviso! Philippe mi rispose \u00abS\u00ec\u00bb. Non davanti al classico altare, ma alla mia richiesta di accompagnarmi verso le terre gelate del Grande Sud. Due viaggi consecutivi a vela in Antartide ci avrebbero uniti in questo amore per le regioni polari. Una volta raggiunta la Norvegia, i tanti confronti con altri velisti avventurosi ci spingono a scegliere lo Spitzberg: pi\u00f9 accessibile rispetto alla Groenlandia e con l&#8217;irresistibile largo.<\/p><p>Organizziamo i turni di guardia e quarantotto ore di navigazione, per la maggior parte a vela, ci portano verso l&#8217;Isola degli Orsi (Bj\u00f8rn\u00f8ya), la nostra tappa a met\u00e0 percorso. Le occasioni per veleggiare non mancano e le condizioni sono decisamente favorevoli. Il mal di mare fa soffrire qualcuno di noi, ma poco importa: bisogna passare anche da questo per coronare i propri desideri.
