Lisa

19 October 2018

Lisa, where are you from ?

I’m from Germany, near Mannheim where I grew up and lived until I was 21. I went to Paris for the last year of my studies and I never left France ! After 10 years in Paris, I missed the good weather, the sea and the sun and I decided to settle down to Nice for a new adventure !

An anecdote about you relating to the sea or boat ?

From a young age I spent all my holidays in Spain, my grandfather had a sailboat and my father, a small motor boat. I still have memories when I was 5 years old when I would sail on my father’s boat in Spain or sailing trips with my grandfather. I have always been fascinated by the sea and to live so close to it today is a real opportunity.

How does it feel to be part of Navily ?

It is exactly what I imagined for the rest of my career : After numerous experiences in large companies, I wanted to join a company where I could make a difference, a start-up, in order to be as close as possible to the heart of the business. It’s also about being a young, multicultural team with great bosses a good atmosphere. The business is growing very fast and things move quickly, you never get bored !

What is your role at Navily ?

I am the Marketing and Communications Director at Navily. More specifically I make Navily known both in France and worldwide, through offline and online campaigns and strategic partnerships.
